IMPORTANT DATES 2025-26

NO CLASS DATES

Throughout the season, we have several no class dates due to holidays or non-school days. Those are:

October 3-11 (EDA's Fall Break, Disneyland)
October 11-13 (Thanksgiving weekend)
October 31 (Halloween)
December 14-January 3 (Christmas Break)
February 5/6 (Teacher's Convention)
February 15/16 (Family Day Weekend)
March 29-April 7 (Spring Break-this only applies for our competitive students)

IMPORTANT EVENTS

Recitals, dance photos, and more! Please note, most of these dates are tentative, as they could change due to availability of the space.

September 22-26 - Costume measuring week
October 26-30 - Halloween Week at the studio
November 7-12 - School Fall Break. We will be running classes on a modified schedule over the break.
November 18-21 - Parent Watch Week (parents can come in for the last 10 minutes of class)
November 30 - some recreational classes perform for the residents of Parkland Lodge
December 7 - remainder of recreational classes perform for continuing care
December 4, 7-10 - PJ Week
December 11 - Christmas Recital (location TBD)
January 10/11 - Dance Photos
March 1-5 - Bring a Friend Week (recreational classes only)
March 9-13 - Dress Rehearsal Week
March 13 - last day of recreational classes
March 14/15 - Year End Recital
May 4-7 - last week of competitive classes, Bring a Friend Week (competitive classes)
May 8 - Competitive class wrap up

PLEASE NOTE - we will have additional dates for dress rehearsals and other activities. These will be posted as they are set.

FEES AND DEADLINES

Monthly fees are posted to your account on the 25th of each month. These must be paid by the 1st of the next month
Costume fees ($90/class) will be posted October 1, 2025 and must be paid by October 15, 2025
Extra work applications are due October 1, 2025
Competitive Fees ($120 for all competitive classes) will be posted November 1, 2025 and must be paid by November 15, 2025

FESTIVAL DATES

We have added an additional OPTIONAL festival this year.

April 2-4 Debut Dance Events, Edmonton (optional)

April 9-12 Sundance Stars Festival, Fort Saskatchewan (all competitive students)

April 23-26 Plie Prep Festival, Morinville (all competitive students AND all festival students)

April 30-May 3 Evergreen Dance Festival, Sherwood Park (all competitive students)

COLD WEATHER POLICY

If buses have been cancelled due to inclement weather, we will also cancel dance classes. We understand that many of our families are coming from out of town and we want to make sure they stay safe. If your child's class is cancelled due to inclement weather, a makeup class will be scheduled.
